Pelvic Girdle pain (formerly known as SPD - symphysis pubic dysfunction), affects 1 in 5 women at any stage of their pregnancy and is a mechanical issue, caused by a pelvic joint problem. PGP often causes pain and stiffness in joints and pain with turning in bed, standing, walking and using the stairs. PGP can have a significant emotional impact, and this is also addressed during your appointment with Penny.
